Hello:  There are two of us who have just received out CFII rating in rotorcraft from Silver State Helicopters.  Now we are seeking employment.  Do you have two positions available for two new instructors?  Thanks, Duff

In reference for the position for Helicopter Pilot/Instructor, please find the attached Resume’ for consideration. As you will see, my training, expertise, and experience as a pilot and instructor, far exceeds minimum requirements.

I believe that both my experience in the military and as a police officer in addition to my civil aeronautics training as a Commercial Pilot and a Certified Flight Instructor, has prepared me for this position.

I have educational degrees as follows: a Bachelors of Science Degree in the Administration of Justice, from California State University at Long Beach California. Associates of Arts and Science Degree from Cerritos College in Norwalk California. An Associates of Arts and Science Degree in Aeronautics (Commercial Flight) from Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California. In addition to two years towards a Jurist Doctorate Degree, from Western States College of Law, and Police Officers Standards in Training Certificate (P.O.S.T.), Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. (Transcripts available on request).

I have a rotor wing certificate with instrument rating from the United States Army and have over 1500 hours of combat flight experience.

As per flight time and hours I have over 2000 hours logged, in Bell products and other type helicopters and over three hundred hours in Robinson R-22 and R-44 type helicopters. I have over 1000 hours pilot in command (PIC) and over 700 hours of night flying.

At altitudes of over five thousand feet and higher, I have logged over 900 hours of operational missions. I am also proficient in sling load operations.

My safety record is impeccable with the FAA and is accident and incident free.

In addition to military flight training and several years of instructing, I have a Civilian Certified Flight Instructors Certificate obtained by attending Mount San Antonio College and Los Angeles Helicopter Flight School. I have also attended the Robinson’s Pilot Safety Course.

I have a current Class II Medical Certificate, and a current Commercial Pilots License with a current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) license.

If given the opportunity to interview for the open position you will find that I am a self sufficient, self starter and in need of minimal supervision and I have an instantaneous grasp for difficult problems and I have excellent people skills.
